The Gallery at Chapin School is set to display photos by Times of Trenton photojournalist Michael Mancuso throughout October.

Mancuso’s Weather or Not exhibition opened Oct.1 and is scheduled to close Oct. 31 at the Chapin School, 401 Princeton Pike, Princeton.

The show predominately features photographs relating the weather and its many transformations.

Mancuso picked up photography from his father, who participated in the art form as a hobby. After Mancuso had his first child, his father encouraged him to get a”real” camera, and it hasn’t left his side since.

“I just want to do good work,” Mancuso said in a statement, “in photojournalism that involves hand, eye, heart and mind coordination. It feels good to be able to do what none of my fellow creatures before me in history — at least until 1839 — had ever been able to do—freeze time.”

Mancuso has been with The Times of Trenton for 29 years full-time.

He plans to donate his portion of any proceeds from the exhibition to a charity of The Times’ choice.
