Plainsboro: Great Town

At Plainsboro Township Committee’s January 3 reorganization meeting, newly re-elected township committee members Neil Lewis and Nuran Nabi were sworn in. Mayor Peter Cantu gave an update on the state of affairs in Plainsboro. My term on the Environmental Advisory Committee was extended for three more years.

Lewis and Nabi have been serving township committee for many years. Mayor Cantu has been a township committee member for 37 years, and mayor for 30 years.

The Township Committee’s achievements in the past several years include the new hospital, Children’s Hospital, fitness center, library, redevelopment project on the old FMC site; Novo Nordisk’s new world headquarters, and new bus routes. Plainsboro was once voted by CNN as one of the Top 100 places to live in the U.S.

I feel fortunate to live in this great town and work with these committed committee members, including Michael Weaver and Edward Yates. They inspired me to run for WW-P Board of Education.

God bless the great town of Plainsboro.
