WW Government Not All Bad

In the January 4 edition of WW-P News, Mr. Pete Weale’s letter closes by stating “until taxpayers start holding their elected officials accountable, it will simply be more of the same.” I do not agree with his implication that the taxpayers are not holding their elected officials accountable. I hold them accountable every time I vote, and I believe the overwhelming majority of township voters do the same. What he is really bemoaning is that the majority of voters do not share his opinions, but that is democracy. Also he opens by stating West Windsor has not lived up to its potential. I do not agree with that either. I have lived here for more than 30 years, and looking at the big picture, I am satisfied with the way our township has developed.
