Equestrian camp registration

Registration for equestrian camp is set to begin Feb.1.

The Mercer County Park Commission is offering six horseback riding camps for ages six to 17.

Camps are set for 8:30 a.m. t0 12:30 p.m. at Mercer County Equestrian Center, 431 Federal City Road, Pennington.

Each week long session is specified for a riding skill level.

Beginner camps are scheduled for June 24 through 28, July 8 through 12 and Aug. 5 through 9.

These sessions are for campers with little to no riding experience.

Advanced and intermediate camps are set for July 1 through 5, 15 through 19 and Aug. 19 through 23.

Daily programming includes riding lessons and hands-on activities involving horse care, barn tasks, grooming and tacking.

The camp is $375 per week.
