West Windsor Lions Club has announced the winners of the Lions Club’s sixth annual “Why I Love America” essay and poem contest. “It is encouraging to learn that these youthful scholars perceive and appreciate the freedom and unity we all enjoy in this country, says president Patricia Ward. “The West Windsor Lions Club congratulates all the contest participants and applaud their fine work.”##M:[more]##

Brian Zhong, first grade, Town Center Elementary School; Phyllis Delk, second grade, Maurice Hawk Elementary School; Madhav Ramesh, third grade, Dutch Neck Elementary School; Suyash Karan Handa, fourth grade, Village School; Rajiv Godse, fifth grade, Millstone River School; Sara Mahmood, sixth grade, Community Middle School; Brandon Ling, seventh grade, Thomas R. Grover Middle School; Julia Yang, eighth grade, Thomas R. Grover Middle School; Philip Davidar, ninth grade High School North; and Veena Kumar, tenth grade, High School South.
