There are two seats open this year on the Plainsboro Township Committee, and only two incumbents have filed. Mayor Peter Cantu, who is seeking his 12th consecutive term on the committee, will be running for a three-year term. Township Committeeman Nuran Nabi, who was appointed by the Township Committee to fill a vacant seat, will be seeking election to run for the rest of the term until December 31, 2009.
