Trenton schools, McCarter get arts education support

McCarter Theater Center has received a $50,000 community impact grant from the Princeton Area Community Foundation for its ongoing Arts Integrated Education Program in Trenton Public Schools.

This grant supports the use of an educational model that integrates arts and pedagogy to bolster students’ overall academic and social performance. The program involves six Trenton school and focuses on standard social studies and language arts curriculum.

Grant funds will allow students more opportunities to work with participating artists.
