‘The Hidden Ally” — a novella that first appeared in the August, 2017, issue of the Echo — is now available in paperback through Barnes & Noble.

The fictional story takes place in Princeton during the years between the Civil War and World War II and follows thoroughly unlikeable and morally bankrupt businessman Thaddeus Strong and the interwoven tales of his descendants.

The author, longtime Princeton resident Marvin Harold Cheiten, notes in his online biography that he “has lived with the types of families he describes in this novel all his life.”

The self-published book is available at barnesandnoble.com for $19.95.
