Santa is coming to Plainsboro neighborhoods for an early visit once again this year with a fire escort to help him on his way.

The Plainsboro Fire company’s annual Santa Ride will take place Friday, Dec. 16 and Saturday, Dec. 17. A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 18 and times will be posted on plainsborofire.com.

“We’ll be making a scheduled stop in each Plainsboro neighborhood,” Plainsboro Fire Company Chief Brian Wagner said. “That allows us to bring Santa Claus to each development and cover the entire township.”

Santa’s itinerary has stops in 24 neighborhoods. The schedule with approximate times for each stop is available at plainsborofire.com. Signs will also be posted at each stop.

Since the scheduled stop times are approximate, Wagner recommends residents arrive at the stop early and be prepared for a possible late arrival. In the event inclement weather or a major emergency causes a postponement, changes will also be posted on their website.
