Danger Lurks in Plainsboro Potholes

Share post:

This letter is my last resort after no results from calls to post office, town council, department of public works, and police.

Driving out of the Plainsboro Post Office has been a hazard for months. The first two potholes are deep crevices as you turn left out of the parking lot. There, one must veer right to avoid them. Then, before the stop sign at the end of the driveway are two more deep holes. To avoid them, it is necessary to swerve to the left into any possibly incoming traffic. I (and the others who use this facility regularly) have been lucky so far!

The only information I get is that this is the responsibility of the shopping center owner, not the township, and Neil Blitz of Public Works has told me that the shopping center owners have been notified. I have suggested that these owners should be issued a violation and fine; that the township repair this danger and bill them; and/or do what is necessary to safeguard drivers.
