Canal Pointe Road Diet Is Not Needed

I remember doing it. My four-year-old son is starting to do it. You are made aware someone (usually mommy) is going to the store, they ask if you need anything, and you spend a good 10 seconds trying to think of something you want even though there is nothing you need.

The road diet along Canal Pointe Boulevard is not needed and the West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance is my four-year-old asking for something simply because he can.

Bike lanes along Canal Pointe Boulevard will be sagebrush filled bike lanes to nowhere. In this season of outreached hands, let’s make a sacrifice to those all-important AAA bond rating gods and save the money it would take to totally re-stripe, re-engineer, and in turn hinder the residents of Canal Pointe Boulevard.

Pave it, patrol it, and let’s move on.
