Aderhold a Super Superintendent Pick

Share post:

I would like to commend the WW-P Board of Education for appointing Dr. David Aderhold as the next superintendent of schools.

As a former Board member who served on the Board’s administration and facilities committee, I had the pleasure of working closely with Dr. Aderhold and got to know him quite well. Dr. Aderhold is an extraordinary leader who quickly earned the respect of the Board of Education and central office team, as well as the district’s teachers and staff members. He is a brilliant administrator with an encyclopedic knowledge of school regulations and procedure. Dr. Aderhold also has tremendous people skills and the ability to forge relationships, often finding middle ground that many thought could not exist.

I was saddened to hear that Dr. Victoria Kniewel is leaving. She has done an exceptional job. But one of Dr. Kniewel’s many talents is the ability to choose exceptional staff. Bringing Dr. Aderhold on board as assistant superintendent and then promoting him to deputy superintendent were two of the best moves Dr. Kniewel ever made.

Dr. Aderhold is ready to be the next superintendent. The Board of Education has chosen well.
