Science and Discovery Night set for Jan. 25

Lawrenceville Elementary School PTO is set to host Science and Discovery Night Jan. 25.

The event is set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the school, 40 Craven Lane, Lawrenceville.

The school said Science and Discovery Night will feature hands-on activities and demonstrations by local parents, scientists and engineers.

The Peaceable Kingdom is set to bring a petting zoo and exotic animals. Bricks4Kids is set to host a Lego exploration room.

Participants will have the opportunity to make bouncing balls and play with goo.

The school said the event activities are directed for kindergarten through third grade students.

The school said admission is $5 for children over three-years-old and free for adults.
