Mercer County horticulturist Barbara J. Bromley hosts lawn care program

Mercer County horticulturist Barbara J. Bromley will speak on “Lawn Basics,” Saturday, March 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Mercer County Cooperative Extension office, 930 Spruce Street, Lawrence.

The free program, hosted by the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Mercer County, will offer facts and information about watering, seeding, fertilizing, and mowing.

Bromley has 25 years of knowledge and experience in everything regarding home turf, and will share this expertise giving participants everything they need to do to give their lawn what it needs, when it needs it. She will answer questions about home lawn care.

Registration for this program is recommended by sending an email to programs@mgofmc.org or by calling 609-989-6830. Soil test kit mailers will be available for purchase at the program.
