Registration is underway for Hopewell Parks and Recreation Department’s Junior Bulldogs Wrestling League.

The league is for children in kindergarten through eighth grade.

Head coach Ron Venezia and a team of volunteer coaches are returning to lead the Junior Bulldogs for the 13th season.

No experience is necessary to participate in this recreational program where the emphasis is on instruction.

The league is designed to help children develop skills and participate in competitive matches with other area teams as part of the Mercer County Youth Wrestling League and the Delaware River Wrestling League.

Practices are scheduled for twice per week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning Nov. 5.

Several wrestling meets are scheduled throughout the season with teams from surrounding community wrestling programs.
