Spring Neighborhood Watch meetings to begin March 12

A meeting for Hamilton’s Neighborhood Watch is set for 7 p.m. March 12 at Nottingham Volunteer Fire House banquet room, 200 Mercer Street.

This meeting if for Mercerville, Hamilton Square, University Heights and Morgan Schools- grids number 51, 53, 57 and 58.

This is the first meeting of the spring season. 16 crime watch meetings are scheduled through May.

At the meeting, participants can discuss their their concerns and recent public safety issues.

Additionally, Neighborhood Watch meetings present prevention tips to help residents avoid crime. Some topics planned for this spring are ways criminals use Facebook, actions residents can take to prevent crimes of opportunity and measures residents should take to prevent burglary while on vacation.

Scheduled meetings are March 13 at McManimon Hall Township Recreation Center for Russell Terrace, grid 22.

March 20 at Ray Dwier Township Recreation Center for Groveville, Highlands andWashington Square, grid 68.

March 21 at Enchantment Residential Community Clubhouse for Enchantment, grid 61.

March 26 at American Legion Post 313 for Broad Street Park, Roebling Park, Lalor Street and Deutzcille, grids 11 and 12.

March 28 at Wingate Apartments for their complex, grid 24.

April 3 at Bromley Township Recreation Center first floor computer room for Bromley, grids 31 and 46.

April 10 at Memorial Baptist Church, Yardville Heights, Highland Avenue and Gropps Lake, grid 67.

April 11 at John O. Wilson Township Neighborhood Center for Forest Vallet Cedar Lawn, grid 23. This meeting is set to begin 6:30 p.m.

April 17 at Enterprise Fire Building first floor meeting room for Jencohallo and Klockner, grids 33 and 45.

April 18 at Decou Hose Fire Company banquet hall for Decou Kishardt, grid 13.

April 24 at Switlik Park Township Recreation Center for Sunnybrae, Switlik Park, and Hauser-Yardville, grids 62, 66 amd 67.

May 1 at Whitehorse Volunteer Fire banquet hall for Golden Crest II and Whitehorse Manor, grids 64 and 65.

May 7 at Colonial Volunteer Fire House banquet hall for South Olden, , Kuser Park, Liberty Streey, Partridge, Hamilton and Pope Avenues, D’Arcy Park and Joan Terrace, grids 21, 32 and 35.

May 9 at Whitehead American Vets Club for Whitehead Manor, grid 41.

St Gregory’s Church Parish Community Center (Ferrante Hall) for Golden Crest and St. Gregory’s, grid 54 and 53.
