Soup tasting set for Feb. 25

Get out your tasting spoons and judge soups at Hamilton Rotary club’s Soup4You Cook-off set for Feb. 25.

The tasting is 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Reynolds Middle School’s cafeteria, 2145 Yardville-Hamilton Square Road, Hamilton.

Local restaurants and food establishments will put their signature soups to the test. Participants will be offered at least 10 soups to taste and help judge. There will also be light accompanying snacks.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door, children under eight are free.

Proceeds from the Soup 4 You Cook-Off are set to benefit scholarships for graduating seniors from local area high schools.

Rotary Club of Hamilton Township is a non-profit service organization that meets every 12:15 Wednesday at Cedar Gardens on Route 33 in Hamilton.
