Restaurants set to face-off for best bite at The Taste of Hamilton

Sample small bites from local restaurants at The Taste of Hamilton set for May 20.

The event is scheduled for 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Seward Johnson Center for Arts at Grounds For Sculpture, 18 Fairgrounds Road, Hamilton.

The Taste of Hamilton is modeled after ABC’s reality show The Taste.

During the culinary competition, judges sample a spoonful of a contestant’s food without knowing who cooked it and what the ingredients are. Judges eliminate contestants based on one bite of food.

At The Taste of Hamilton, attendees serve as their own judges to determine which restaurant offers the best food in the township.

The annual event is sponsored by Hamilton Township and its Economic Development Advisory Commission.

The commission is seeking local restaurant owners to in participating in the the event. Participants are required to place a $100 deposit to reserve their exhibition location. The deposit will be reimbursed following participation in the event.

Sponsorship opportunities for local businesses are also available.
