Twin sisters Megan and Lizzy Turansky opened Dog Wash Depot in Ewing on Dec. 1.

The sisters, who both hold Mater Grooming Certificates, offer self-service dog wash stations and professional pet grooming sessions.

Megan and Lizzy opened Dog Wash Depot with the help and support of their parents, Scott and Carrie Turansky. Scott worked with his daughters to design the dog wash stations and outfit the shop. He also helps run the business side of things.

The shop has four dog wash stations for dog owners who want a convenient place to clean their pooches. Dog owners can use a range of products including shampoo designed for sensitive skin, allergies, and flea and tick prevention.

Professional groomers stand by and assist the dog owners. They can also help with ear cleaning and nail trimming.

The sisters have more than six years of combined experience grooming all types of dogs. Megan specializes in grooming older dogs or those who are hesitant to be groomed.

More information is online at dogwashdepot.com.

The shop is located in the Scotch Road Plaza, 185 Scotch Road in Ewing.
