The Yardley Players are set to presents Agatha Christie’s most enduring classic, The Mousetrap, at Mercer County Community College’s Kelsey Theatre

After more than 60 years on stage in London – making it the longest continuous run of any play in history – The Mousetrap still keeps audiences on the edge of their seats and guessing until the very end.

When a group of strangers is trapped together during a snowstorm amid news of a murder nearby, mistrust and fear soon take center stage. Could the murderer be among them? No one is above suspicion – not the guest house owners, the spinster with the mysterious background, the architect, the retired Army Major, or the man who turns up claiming his car has overturned in a snow bank.

The show stars William Mercado Hightstown as Sergeant Trotter and Elizabeth Rzasa of Lawrenceville as Mollie Ralston.

The cast also features Joseph Perignat (Furlong, Pa.); Kevin Hallam, Christopher Neuman (Hamilton); Jessica Braynor (Lawrenceville); Marilyn Licciardello (Pennington); Andrew Gordon (West Windsor).

Performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. Sept. 26 and Oct. 3; 2 p.m. Sept. 27 ,28, Oct. 4 and 5.

Kelsey Theatre is located on the college’s West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew will follow the opening night performance on Sept. 26.

Tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for seniors and $14 for students and children.
