InterCap Support

A few weeks ago the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce submitted a letter of support for the agreement reached between the West Windsor Township Administration and InterCap Holdings, the developer of the Transit Village/Affordable Housing Project. It was also approved by Judge Feinberg as to the affordable housing requirements contained within the plan. The Town Council originally approved the agreement but now may not have enough votes to introduce the ordinance.

We at the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce continue to strongly support the agreement and project along with the economic stimulus and the opportunity for a reasonable amount of affordable housing that this development will create. It will benefit not only a significant number of our members by creating jobs and business activity but believe the project will provide a positive economic and social impact not only for West Windsor but for the entire Central Jersey region.

Editor’s note: After this letter was received, West Windsor Council did introduce the ordinance.
