Frontier Airlines is set to host a job recruitment event seeking flight attendants to be based in Mercer County.

Last week, Frontier announced it would go from 14 destinations to 17 destinations from the Mercer County airport, and would base three aircraft in the county.

County executive Brian Hughes said he has been working with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and Frontier Airlines to bring new job opportunities to the county.

“Mercer County has one of the highest-educated pools of workers nationally from which Frontier can draw, and I’m confident they will find well-qualified potential employees here,” Hughes said in a statement.

The flight attendant recruitment events are scheduled for March 7 and 8 at the Conference Center at Mercer County Community College, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and doors close at 9 a.m.

Frontier Airlines qualifications include willingness to relocate to any Frontier Airlines Crew Base, holding a current passport and no visible tattoos or multiple piercings.

Interested applicants must RSVP via e-mail to facareers@flyfrontier.com by March 3.
