Conover bike path plan is unsafe

Although I am a Jefferson Park resident I oppose the proposed Conover Bike Path projects for public safety reasons. It builds a dedicated off-road path alongside Conover from Post Road to Galsoton Road only to then abruptly end and dump riders on to Conover Road at a dangerously curved heavy traffic section of Conover from Galston to Edinburgh Road that has several blind spots and NO bike path (either off-road or on-road) and NO sidewalk. What is accomplished by creating a sense of security in those riders for several miles and then abruptly putting them in to real jeopardy for the last quarter mile or so?
