The Rotary Club of Trenton invites local high school seniors to apply for the $10,000 Lion Woodward Scholarship. The scholarship award is paid out $2,500 per year for four years and administered by the Princeton Area Community Foundation.

Applications for 2016 are due March 1 and are available at trentonrotary.org/lion-woodward-foundation-scholarship.A variety of factors are considered as part of the evaluation process, including financial need, academic achievement, exemplary community service and leadership.

Trenton Rotary established the Lion Woodward Educational Fund in 1928 as a memorial to assist worthy students in achieving their educational goals. The Fund was converted to a Scholarship Program for civic minded students in 2011 and is now held at the Princeton Area Community Foundation, and overseen by a committee of five current Rotarians.
