Washington Crossing Audubon Society to hold several events in April

The Washington Crossing Audubon Society is set to hold several events in April 2014.

On April 5, Sharyn Magee will lead a free birding trip from 8 to 11:30 a.m.

The walk will be at a park formerly known as The Pole Farm located at 111-167 Cold Soil Road, Lawrence Township.

On April 26, John Maret and Brad Merritt will lead a free birding trip at 8 a.m.

The walk will be at Roebling Park adjacent to the Abbott Marshlands in Trenton and located at the end of Sewell Avenue in Hamilton.

On April 21, Kevin Loughlin will give a presentation titled The Color of Bird: In celebration of a passion? at 8 p.m.

Loughlin’s photographs and articles have appeared in publications such as WildBird, Audubon and Philadelphia Magazines, as well as the National Geographic web site and many natural history books.

The program will be held in the Choral Room in the Campus Center of the Pennington School located at 112 West Delaware Avenue, Pennington.
