Lawrence American Legion offers scholarships

Lawrence Township American Legion Post 414 is offering scholarships to high school seniors who plan to enter college in the fall.

The organization plans to award four $1,000 scholarships.

Eligible applicants must be a resident of Lawrence Township, a high school senior planning to enter college and a son, daughter, grandson or granddaughter of a military veteran, either living or deceased.

Applications are available at the guidance offices of Lawrence and Notre Dame high schools, at American Legion Post 414, 100 Berwyn Place, or by contacting Nicholas Loveless at 609-882-9108.

The deadline for filing is set for May 1.
