Hopewell Presbyterian Church to host open house and family concert

Hopewell Presbyterian Church is set to host a free family concert and open house.

The concert and open house are scheduled for March 29 at the church, 80 West Broad Street, Hopewell.

The open house is set to begin 5:30 p.m.; it features displays and demonstrations by area organizations, activities for all ages, and complimentary appetizers and desserts.

Open house exhibitors include representatives of local Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Cub Scouts as well as Hopewell Valley Children’s Theater, Bricks 4 Kidz and Creative Connections Play School, which plans to begin programs next fall.

Children can participate in a workshop and make a seasonal craft to take home.

The concert is scheduled to begin 7 p.m. Performers include singers from Hopewell Valley Children’s Theater, a community choir, the church’s choirs and praise band, student musicians and Hopewell’s Boy Scout Troop 71.
