An hourlong documentary film about Hopewell Valley nonprofit organization Hope Loves Company is set to premiere at the New Hope Film Festival on July 21 at 6 p.m.

Director Steve Besserman made the film about the organization whose mission is to provide educational and emotional support for children and young adults who have or have had a loved one battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS. Hope Loves Company was founded by Titusville resident Jodi O’Donnell Ames.

The film sets out to depict the way the organization is helping young people locally and across the world through its camps and other programs.

“We’re uniting children and families who may or may not have met another parent with ALS,” O’Donnell-Ames says.
