On Saturday, August 15, 2015, Hamilton Township helped to find some loving pets new homes as part of “Clear the Shelters” Day. The Hamilton Township Animal Shelter joined with nearly 30 shelters in the greater Philadelphia and South/Central Jersey region to promote the adoption of shelter animals.

Hamilton’s participation in the cause led to the adoption over 26 shelter cats and dogs, with future adoptions likely to come thanks to the effort.

Hamilton residents who may be interested in the adoption of a loving pet companion can visit HamiltonNJ.com/Pets4Adoption or stop by the Hamilton Township Animal Shelter located at 2100 Sylvan Avenue, Hamilton.
