The Robbinsville Hamilton Rotary Club is accepting applications for its annual scholarship.

Through its foundation, the club awards college scholarships ranging from $250 to $1,000.

Scholarships are available for high school seniors living in Robbinsville and Hamilton Townships who are continuing their education at a two or four-year college or at a vocational or technical school.

Students planning to study journalism, including advertising, multimedia, public relations, television and radio, are eligible for the James A. DeBold “Service Above Self” Scholarship, which awards $1,000.

The organization is also offering a new scholarship, the Don Carrington Vocational/Trade School Scholarship in the amount of $500.

Students must submit a typed, 250 word essay describing how they would use their education and experiences to give back to the community. The organization also recommends including documentation that supports the applicant’s community service participation.

Applications are due April 24 and should be mailed to Robbinsville Hamilton Rotary Foundation, P.O. Box 9296, Hamilton, NJ 08650.

More information is online at rhrotary.org.
