Rabies shot clinic set for Jan. 24

Hamilton Township is set to host a free rabies immunization clinic Jan. 26.

The clinic is set for 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the McManimon Township Building, 320 Scully Ave., Hamilton.

The New Jersey Department of Heath said dog are required to be immunized every two years.

The Township said 2013 Dog Licenses will not be will not be issued if a pet’s immunization expires before Nov. 1, 2013.

The township said the clinic is open to dogs and cats of residents. Proof of residency is required.

The township said all dogs must be leashed and cats must arrive to the clinic in a cat carrier.
