Klockner’s Early Act club raises awareness for breast cancer

Klockner students Bella Burton, Tareek Smith, Kya Wallace and Allison Caicedo make bracelets to raise awareness for breast cancer in October.

In October, Klockner School’s Early Act Club made and sold bracelets raise awareness for breast cancer.

Club members made loom band bracelets during their recess time. They sold the bracelets for $1 each to students and staff throughout the building.

The students raise more than $250; proceeds were donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation.

Each month, students in the Early Act Club, led by adviser Michele Druckenmiller choose an organization to raise awareness or fundraise for.
