Kisthardt students compete in spelling bee

Kisthardt Elementary School spelling bee winners Dylan Georges, Maddy Karr, Ama Frimpong, Marcos Jimenez, Ashley DiDonato and Wilna Altine.

Kisthardt Elementary School hosted its first spelling bee on Jan. 24.

Kindergarten through fifth grade students participated in preliminary spelling bees in their homerooms. The top five winners from each homeroom went on to the Jan. 24. competition.

Spelling bee winners are kindergartner Maddy Karr, first grader Marcos Jimenez, second grader Dylan Georges, third grader Ama Frimpong, fourth grader Ashley DiDonato and fifth grader Wilna Altine.
