Hamilton to hold follow-up hepatitis A clinic

The Hamilton Township Division of Health is set to host an additional follow-up Hepatitis A clinic for residents affected by the Hepatitis A public health issue that occurred during the late fall and early winter months. The clinic will be held on Monday, July 20 from noon to 7 p.m. at 2100 Greenwood Avenue, Hamilton.

Residents that were previously vaccinated for Hepatitis A are encouraged to attend the clinic if it has been six months since receiving the first Hepatitis A vaccination.

Residents that did not receive their first Hepatitis A vaccine through the Hamilton Township Division of Health and are interested in receiving their second Hepatitis A Vaccine from the Health Division MUST bring their Hepatitis A vaccination record for review to assure that the administering of the vaccination is taking place at least 6 months after the initial dose.

Clinic vaccinations will be by appointment only and cost $35. Individuals must be over 12 months to receive the vaccination. Ages 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. To schedule an appointment, call (609) 890-3884.
