Grice Middle School student Erin Burns recently attended a People to People World Leadership Forum in Washington D.C.

The eighth grader joined a select group of students from the U.S. and Canada to study leadership and explore some of the nation’s monuments and institutions.

The program was designed to fulfill President Dwight D. Eisenhower vision of fostering world citizenship. He founded People to People International during his presidency in 1956.
