E.Y. Martial Arts & Self Defense Concepts is launching Belts of a Hope, its campaign to raise money for breast cancer research, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Anyone who makes a minimum donation of $10 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation through E.Y. Martial Arts’ Belts of Hope campaign will be awarded a pink belt.

Students who earn a pink belt is encouraged to wear it to training for the entire month of October.

“Breast cancer got personal for all of us at E.Y. Martial Arts when one of our long-time students was diagnosed last year,” Master Ed Yuncza said. “She underwent surgery and treatment and returned to training a few months ago. This is one way for us to show our support for her, and all women and men who are faced with this disease, and to do whatever we can to raise awareness about breast cancer and help eradicate it.”

Donation forms are available at E.Y. Martial Arts & Self-Defense Concepts, located at 90 Flock Road in Hamilton.
