Bordentown Township’s annual Red Cross Blood Drive is set to be held on June 23 from 2-7 p.m. at the Senior Community Center, located at 3 Municipal Dr. in the

township. Historically, the township partners with The Red Cross to retain and schedule as many donors as possible.

The blood supply is very low, especially in the summer months. Every minute of every day someone needs blood. Donating blood is easy, safe and makes a difference in a patient’s life. The township urgently appeals to healthy donors to donate at the drive. Residents, past donors, new donors, sponsors, eligible high school and college students, friends and neighbors are all encouraged to participate.

Please do not wait until there is an emergency to help your community. Anyone who is at least 17 years old and weighs 110 pounds or more may be eligible to donate blood every 56 days.

Appointments are preferred. To sign up, go to redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor code as: bordentownship.

For more information, call the mayor’s office at (609)-298-2800, Ext. 2109.
