Residents of the Village of Crossford are set to return to Liberty Lake in June.

The New Jersey Renaissance Faire is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 1, 2, 8 and 9 at Liberty Lake, 1195 Florence-Columbus Road, Bordentown.

The family-friendly festival is set to feature entertainment, food and activities including jousting, sword fighting, human chess, comedy and music.

Other highlights are Scottish folk band Albannach and the Valenzano Winery Meade Garden.

More than 50 artisans will set up shop in the Merchant Village. Vendors include glass blowers, metal workers and other crafters, along with stalls selling period clothing.

This year’s theme centers on William Wallace, of Braveheart film fame, and his conflicts with the English King Edward Longshanks.

Admission is $20 for adults, $12 for children ages 5 to 12 and free for children 4 years old and younger. Discounts are available for attendees who come in costume.

The festival is a rain or shine event.
