Community members are invited to join Burlington County College students and alumni to seek new job opportunities at two upcoming events.

The events, organized by Burlington County College’s Career Services Center, are set to include a summer job fair on the college’s Mount Laurel campus.

Calendar of Events:

Thursday, March 5: Dress to Impress Clothing Resale Event: Are you looking to expand your professional wardrobe on a limited budget? The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey’s Mobile ReSale Boutique is coming to BCC’s Briggs Road Center (room 115), located adjacent to the Mount Laurel campus. Find professional and business casual clothing at a bargain price. Entrance to the pop-up shop is free. Community members are invited to shop from 1:30-3:30 p.m. BCC students will be permitted to shop early, starting at 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday, March 10: BCC Summer Job and Internship Fair: Jobseekers are invited to meet with hiring managers at the Enterprise Center at BCC, on the Mount Laurel campus, from 10 a.m.

to 1 p.m. More than 40 employers in industries like health care, food service, financial, education and retail will be on hand to discuss summer employment opportunities and internships. Jobseekers are expected to dress professionally and bring updated copies of their resume. This event is free.

BCC’s Director of Career Services Roseanne Buckley said she was most excited about the addition of the clothing resale event to the strong lineup of career preparation events the college presents every year.

“We are really excited to present the new clothing resale event this year,” Buckley said. “Appropriate attire is definitely a factor in an employer’s hiring decision, but we know students and those who are on limited budget may find it difficult to purchase a new suit. This event will feature new, or gently used, professional wardrobe pieces at extraordinarily affordable prices.”
