South and North placed first and second, respectively, in the Mercer County boys’ tennis tournament on April 23.
Several players from both schools placed in singles. South’s John Hu placed third in first singles, North’s Vasishta Kalinahabhotla and South’s Michael Song placed first and third in second singles, respectively, and South freshman Kabir Sarita placed first in third singles.
In doubles, North’s Lev Gedrich and Karan Rajput won first doubles, defeating South’s Martin Malik and Didrick Manahan in the final. Similarly, in second doubles, North’s Sriram Bapatla and Anoop Patel defeated South’s Pranay Nadella and Yuefeng Zhu in the finals.
