Gene Buck, science teacher at Grover Middle School: Karen Orlovsky, grade five teacher at Village School; and Kate Manning, grade four teacher at Village School, were awarded first place by the American Chemical Society in the category of “Creative and Innovative Use of the Chemists Celebrate Earth Day Theme,” a program coordinated by Schuyler Antane and Madelene Antane from Wyeth Research. The award was presented at the 232nd American Chemical Society National Meeting.
