Words Take Flight Books is giving authors the opportunity to “Write That Famous Book.”

The Robbinsville-based publisher is hosting the Write That Famous Book contest. Authors can submit novels and short story collections for a chance to win $500 and publication with the company.

Along with waving standard publishing fees, WTF Books is set to give the winner all the royalties on the published book.

Novel writers are asked to submit a one-to-two page synopsis and first three chapters of their work. Writers of short story collections are required to submit an overview of the theme and one story.

The contest runs from Aug. 1 to midnight on Nov. 1.

The entry fee is $25 per submission and writers may enter as many works as they please.

Established in 2011, WTF Books aims to give voice to new and established authors, while helping audiences break through their perceptions of themselves as readers.
