Princeton Chamber of Commerce to host luncheon with Danielle Allen

The Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce is set to host its’ March Monthly Membership Luncheon with guest speaker Danielle Allen, Social Sciences Professor at the Institute for Advanced Study. The event is planned for Thursday, March 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, 100 College Road East in Princeton.

Professor Allen will speak on “Pursuing Happiness: What the Declaration of Independence has to Teach Us About Human Flourishing”.

Allen is a political theorist who has been published broadly in democratic theory, political sociology, and the history of political thought. She is widely known for her work on justice and citizenship in both ancient Athens and modern America.
