The Plainsboro community celebrated the Year of the Pig at the Plainsboro Library Feb. 9 and 10.

The Chinese New Year festivities included cultural performances, games, a dragon dance, art reception, as well as arts and crafts stations for all ages. Attendees learned how to write Chinese calligraphy and create their own elaborate Peking Opera mask.

Photographer Suzette J. Lucas was at the event to document the weekend’s festivities.
