The Old Barracks Museum is set to host two events on May 3.

During the day, there will be a special program about 18th century science and medicine.

Michael Kochan will be dressed in period attire and will be performing experiments done by Benjamin Franklin. He will also be giving a presentation on 18th century medical theory and practice.

The event is being held in tandem with Super Science Weekend at the State Museum.

The event is included with the price of admission.

On the same day, from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m., there will be a fundraiser to benefit educational programs at the Old Barracks Museum.

Guests at the fundraiser will be able to play colonial board and card games, listen to live music of the time period and learn the accompanying dances.

There will also be a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, drinks and desserts.

The price of a ticket is $100 with a 20% discount for members.

The Old Barracks museum is located at 101 Barrack Street, Trenton.
