High School North students won the NJ State Championship for the We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution state competition. The students include Dan Margiotti, Doreen Ho, Ayesha Khan, Sabina Carlson, Edward Chang, David Hawryluk, Shankar Kambam, Daniel Baryy, Steve Lewis, Dustin Ward, Manthan Patel, John Feurstein, Sam Han, Sean McNulty, Lauran Alba, Peter Weinmann, Megan Rusciano, Yan Fu, Boyand Hou, Anusha Sriram, and John Byrnes. ##M:[more]##
Their advisor and coach is Brett Charleston, High School North social studies teacher. Joan Albanese assists the team. The group competes in May for the national title.
