Herman’s appointment comes after a search that attracted 42 candidates. He will fill the remaining two years of Kracht’s term and will then be eligible for a reappointment to a three-year term.

Herman comes to Plainsboro with 18 years of experience as a municipal court judge in three Middlesex County municipalities. He has also served on an “acting” basis in Plainsboro. A resident of Edison Township, he is a partner in the law firm of Hill Wallack in Princeton. He has a B.A. from Albright College and a J.D. from Rutgers University.
