Mercer County Community College (MCCC) plans to honor three community partners at its “Spring Into Student Success” event on Tuesday, April 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. The event will be held at Mercer Oaks, 725 Village Road in Princeton Junction.

“Spring Into Student Success” is the college’s major benefit in support of student scholarships. According to event co-chairs, Foundation Board Chair Nina Melker and Mercer County Freeholder Pat Colavita, the three honorees were selected for their significant commitment to assisting MCCC students in achieving their academic goals.

The honorees include Jim and Lynne Faridy as well as Allen and Judy Silk who will receive the Distinguished Benefactor Award. PNC Bank will also receive the Distinguished Corporate Partner Award.

In addition to the awards ceremony, the event features a silent auction, recognition of student scholarship recipients, and musical entertainment by MCCC student musicians. Refreshments include hors d’oeuvres and light buffet, an open bar, coffee and desserts.

MCCC invites businesses and community members to participate in the “Spring Into Student Success” event through corporate sponsorships, silent auction donations and ticket purchases. For more information, visit mccc.edu/studentsuccess, e-mail foundation@mccc.edu or call (609) 570-3616.
