West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance’s “Learn to Bike” class will be held on Saturday, September 24, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the West Windsor Farmers’ Market on Vaughn Drive. The class is open to children of members of the organization. Not a member? Join online at wwbpa.org.

Children should be at least five years old and be able to ride with training wheels around the block. They will be taught a method to ride on their own — without a parent clutching the back of the bike. Bring a working bicycle and helmet — or buy a helmet for $10. Register for the free class by E-mail to wwbikeped@gmail.com.

In May 50 kids were taught to ride. Visit https://wwbpa.org/2011/07/watch-our-learn-to-bike-video/ to see their accomplishments.
