Friendship Expo scheduled to take place at PDS

The Friendship Circle of Greater Mercer County is set to hold its second Friendship Expo on May 4.

The expo is dedicated to benefiting people with special needs and their families.

There will be a drop-off program for children with special needs and many activities for the entire family. Multiple vendors will be present with an array of products and services to browse through.

One of the presentations at the event will be the “Experience Dyslexia®” simulation. This simulation gives the typical person way to experience the challenges that a dyslexic person deals with on a daily basis.

In addition, Hillary D. Freeman will be giving a session titled “Accessing Supports that Lead to Success” and Scott Leshin will be giving one titled “Navigating the Health Insurance Bureaucracy.”

The event is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will take place at Princeton Day School located at 650 Great Road, Princeton.
